Overview

The PUML team is comprised of leading innovators in the Blockchain Australia space with an understanding of local + global markets and commercial + regulatory environments. This is evident by invitations to speak at prominent NFT events and close relationships with significant figures in the space.

The PUML team is highly experienced in developing and launching complex technological solutions. With experience from some of the world's largest companies including BBC, Virgin Media, Uber, WPP, Ikon and more, PUML combines some of Australia’s leading Web3, Crypto, and Blockchain experts.

PUML closely works with advisors who are thought leaders in NFT, Blockchain, and Sport Technology such as RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub and the NYU SportsTech accelerator "Hype Spin Tel Aviv".

Damien King (Founder) is also a leading member of the Australian Computer Society, Certified Professional - MACS (Snr) CP and speaks globally on NFT and cryptocurrency events.

Executive Team

Damien King | Founder, CEO/CTO

20 years of experience in Technology, Engineering & Blockchain holds an MACS (Snr) CP: Damien has 20 years of experience in developing complex mobile applications and platforms for companies such as Virgin Media, The BBC, British Telecom; and locally here, in Australia, with companies such as BHP Billiton. Damien has also founded several start-ups that specialise in gamification, health-tech and blockchain. Damien’s vast technology and industry experience will ensure PUML is able to deliver the project within the required timeframes and to the highest technical standard. He has experience running teams of over 50 personnel and is a qualified SCRUM Master.

Debora Kocak | COO

Lawyer, marketing growth hacker, experienced executive and entrepreneur. With a Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Laws from Bond University and a graduate of the entrepreneurship program, Debora has a rich heritage in startups and operations. As one of the first hires at Uber she helped roll out their Australian business and gained great insight into one of the world's most successful technology companies. She brings great experience of startups, law and marketing with a passion for technology, health and wellbeing. Debora is a huge asset to the executive team and the PUML project.

Joel Martin | CFO

Corvid Group, Ex Ikon Communications, WPP - Joel is a seasoned Financial Controller who spent several years working with Global Agency, WPP in the Ikon Communications team in Sydney. He directly ran financial budgets, planning and reporting across tier one clients such as the Commonwealth Bank, Bankwest, Myer, Mazda, Subway, NIB, and Penguin. Joel is also a director of Corvid Group, a financial services firm that specialises in helping management accounting for startups and growth companies to help with strategy and planning.

Thong Nguyen | Head of Technology

Native app developer, over 10 years of experience - Thong Nguyen has acquired extensive software development experience over the last 10 years. He has a Bachelor of Science: Computer sciences and engineering and an MBA and started his PHD from Sydney University in 2017. At PUML he leads the development team as a Scrum master as well is working closely with Damien to develop the deep tech blockchain infrastructure platform

Emma Crudgington | Head of Web3 Projects

Ex-Lendlease, Hays - Emma is a passionate Sales and Business Development manager. As Head of Sales, she creates and leads PUML's repeatable inbound sales strategy. She is expanding and leading the in-house sales team. Emma's core expertise lies in business development, sales and partnerships with companies.
