The battery trait is heavily bonus oriented and has been built to allow users to earn more PUML with the same amount of steps made. Steps cannot be claimed once the battery has run out, or if no watch is owned. If a user does not have a charged battery, they can still continue earning PUML as usual in the App, but cannot claim additional bonuses. The in-app only PUML token will be used to recharge a users battery with a consistent cost to apply to all trait rarities. However, a higher battery level will need to be charged less often compared to a lower battery level. ### Damage Resistance This impacts the lifespan of the watch from first claim date. The watch becomes unusable after a certain period of time. The Damage Resistance bar can be seen by the user in-app and the full potential of a new buy on a secondary marketplace. Watches cannot be sold with depleted Damage Resistance and can only be listed on a secondary marketplace once it has been repaired using PUML token. If damage resistance reaches 0 validity, the watch will become unusable even if the Battery is still working. Users will no longer be able to participate in challenges/classes that require the watch and they will no longer be earning bonus PUML rewards. The following example gives an idea of how max claiming will work: * Tracker; can claim up to 5,000 steps/day * Sports Classic; can claim up to 6,500 steps/day * Modern; can claim up to 8,000 steps/day * Digital Classic; can claim up to 10,000 steps/day * Calculator; can claim up to 15,000 steps/day * Jewelled; can claim in excess of 20,000+ steps/day The amount of steps that can be claimed per day relates to distance travelled by PUML users and is linked intrinsically to the watch type. Higher distance watch types may apply to avid exercisers/athletes/sports professionals whereas lower distance watch types may apply to casual PUML app users. ### Multiplier Each wearable will have a final utility trait that multiplies a users PUML earnings, giving them bonus rewards. The multiplier will act as an average of backend values assigned to the Damage Resistance and Battery Utility Traits. Each Damage/Battery Utility trait will be given a level value of 1 - 10, with each level having a "hidden value" that's assigned in the smart contract.
